Reflecting on her journey, CPO1 Georgeadis shares, “I started cadets as a 9-year-old and remember looking up to the coxswain then, being so inspired by her and wanting to be just like her. I’ve found so many really great role models in this program, and they have helped me find my full potential. Now, in this role, It’s like I’ve come full circle and I get to be that role model for new cadets—it makes me feel really special.“ Expressing her love for the program, she adds, “I look forward to coming every week; it’s the highlight of my week. Cadets has given me so much; I really don’t know where I’d be without it, probably making some dumb decisions.”

Offering advice to fellow cadets, CPO1 Georgeadisadvises, “My advice to other cadets is to be the leader that you needed when you were younger. Be THAT person. I always try to make people feel less alone when they make a mistake. I’ve been there, I’ve made mistakes, I cried, then I learned, and got better.”

Congratulations, CPO1 Georgeadis! Your journey and insights inspire us all, and we eagerly anticipate witnessing your continued success within our cadet family.
